- 80 hours of classroom training
- Field Training and Experience
- 80 hours of field training or its equivalent
- The above will not apply to a person who has:
- Worked as a home inspector in each of the twenty-four months immediately preceding the effective date of the Home Inspector Licensing Act; and
- Performed at least one hundred home inspections for compensation in the twenty-four months immediately preceding the effective date of the Home Inspector Licensing Act
